Over the long weekend, me and my family took a vacation to the Olympic Peninsula. I had a lot of fun, so I decided to blog about it. This is my first time blogging about travel, so this blog post might be bad.
1. Olympic Game Farm
Have you ever seen those videos of the zoos you drive right through, and there are like monkeys on the windshield? Well, this is it (except for the monkeys). There are caged animals that you can’t feed, then there are animals that walk up to your car and stick their head in your window for bread. It was hilarious how animals just stick there head in your car. I never thought I would feed and pet a zebra out of my car window. If you didn’t already bring a loaf of bread, you can buy a loaf there for $2. There are tons of animals to feed such as:
- Llamas
- Alpacas
- Bison
- Elk
- Deer
- Moose
- Turkeys
- Zebra
- And more!
Then the animals that are caged and you can’t feed are:
- Bears
- Foxes
- Tigers
- Mountain lions
- Bobcats
- And more!
2. Rialto Beach
Rialto Beach is an amazingly beautiful place to go. When you arrive, you must climb over piles of beautiful eroded logs (which are great props for a photo shoot), then you get to see the amazing beach. In summer, you can even swim there. What’s really cool is that every rock is completely flat and smooth, which is perfect for skipping stones.
